Have you ever seen so much cuteness packed into one wedding before? This adorable Cabo affair from Constance Curtis Events definitely brought it in the completely and utterly darling department! There are so many sweet details from the yellow and white straws to the coordinating bouquets and milk glass centerpieces. The awesome, hand-painted maraca favors/escort cards might be the big winner in my eyes but they are followed closely by the ribbon-clad ceremony decor and reception chairs. From Constance Curtis Events…Duncan and Rebecca Lavery got married in Cabo San Lucas on June 4th, 2011 at the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar Resort and Spa. Duncan is from New Zealand and Rebecca is from the States, so choosing Mexico as their destination wedding location, fit perfect, 3 countries uniting!
Unique ceremony elements included custom picados and flags with their names and wedding date. Hand painted maracas with guests names were used as escort cards. They also had a mariachi band at the ceremony and cocktail hour. Their colors were grey, white and yellow.
At the reception area, custom made coasters, made and flown in from New Zealand were given to each guest. Instead of a cake cutting, they did a churro and dessert bar! And instead of a champagne toast, they did a tequila toast!
There was also a photo booth full of festive props including sombreros and tequila bottles.
Unique elements of the rehearsal dinner included a tortilla making station and a fortune teller bird. Guests would say their name, the bird would come out of its cage and grab a hand paper fortune for guests to read!
