Oh paper products, how I love thee. Letterpress might be the legit fastest way to my heart - and that is not an exaggeration. So you know I am doing back flips at the opportunity to welcome the ladies of Greenwich Letterpress to the SMP New York family. These lovely ladies of letterpress had me at hello...and when I found out they have their own presses and printer, well let's just say they officially beelined straight to my favorite status. Go take a look for yourself, I think (ok know) you'll agree.
From Greenwich Letterpress...My sister Beth and I opened in 2006 as a retail store that offers custom letterpress in the West Village. Greenwich Letterpress begun in 2006 with the original intentions of being a small card shop that offered our own letterpress wedding invitation, stationery and business card designs. Over the years it has evolved into a full time design studio, and card shop in which we not only offer our own custom invitations, stationery and business cards, but our own brand of cards.I have a background in graphic design, and my sister got her painting degree from Boston University School of Art. We try to provide a environment for our clients that feels relaxed and not stuffy, since invitations are supposed to be a enjoyable part of the wedding planning. We try and work with clients to customize their design with ease, by pulling other elements from other design suites in, or choosing different fonts. Our website is also designed in a manner that makes it easy to look at different designs with ink and font options, play around with the different choices and place an order without over-complicating things. To us, what makes our product unique is our way of blending an older style of imaging with a more modern take on the design and -layout of the product to give these images which we love a more modern feel.We are always trying to grow as designers and love working through a design with the client, where everyone is part of the process. We are adaptable in terms of anything from an ultra modern design to more traditional. Our clients range in their designs aesthetics and we don't shy away from their ideas. We own our own presses which gives us an advantage in terms of service. We are very lucky to have a skilled printer at our helm who does fantastic work, we love Jimmy!

We might just be in love with everything Michael Stuart touches, and really can you blame us? He is a genius in the kitchen and we can't get enough of anyone that can make food look THIS pretty. We are honored to have such talent in our SMP Family - so a huge, hearty welcome to the one and only Michael Stuart NY!
