Sonoma Wedding Inspiration by BLR Life Photography & Cinema

I think “Eat Dessert First” might be my new motto in life.  And when those desserts are surrounded by some adorable garden wedding inspiration put together by a magical group of vendors like BLR Life Photography & CinemaA Savvy Event and Nancy Liu Chin?  Why that is even sweeter!  I love the vibrant and vivacious color palette…a happy departure from the typical pastel garden parties we tend to see.  Though they have some stiff competition with the gorgeous flowers, fantastic details and lovely setting, the cute-as-can-be ring bearer and flower girl might just be the show stealers of the whole fabulous fête!  Dream the rest of the day away in a garden paradise in the full gallery!

Watch the entire breathtaking day come to life with a beautiful film by Kevin Chin!

From BLR Life Photography & Cinema… We styled this wedding to showcase a brand new event space in Sonoma for Bride & Grooms. We wanted to design a wedding that was attainable for brides and that would inspire them to come view this beautiful new wedding location in Sonoma! Since Quarryhill is a botanical garden we wanted to create a garden theme. This property is absolutely breath taking and has so many different feels to it. It has the vineyard, a residential component, gorgeous gardens, a lake and a stunning waterfall. It truly as so many wonderful aspects and to really accentuate the gardens seemed to be a perfect fit.

When creating our dream team of vendors we just knew that Nancy Liu Chin would provide the most amazing flower arrangements that would compliment the venue. This is what Nancy had to say, “When Kelly of A Savvy Event first asked me to be apart of this I knew that I had to when I saw the venue.  When you love flowers, the opportunity to work at a botanical garden is so thrilling for a floral designer.  I loved how the many parts of the garden had it’s own story from the lawns where we set the escort table to the pool side gazebo for the dessert to the hidden grove where a ceremony could take place.  Everything about the location, the season and the wonderful gardens spoke to me as a floral designer for it’s unique feeling and style.”

We used in season flowers like ranunculus, peonies, sweet peas, roses, parrot tulips, snapdragons, viburnum to give it lots of color and texture.  The colors of pale tangerines, salmons, cantaloupe and fruit punch seemed bright, airy and summery. One of my favorite things about the whole experience was the charming and romantic reception with long tables.  The metal lanterns overhead added to the whimsy of the whole day.  And who could forget, “eat dessert first’.
