What a pretty, pretty week it’s been here on SMP Texas weddings! We’ve seen a little bit of everything from glamour to rustic and I just loved them all so much that it’s pretty much impossible to pick a favorite! Before we leave you for another beautiful summer weekend we wanted to share this adorable rodeo engagement session by Carlea J Photography. If this doesn’t just scream Texas romance, I”m not sure what does!

From Carlea J Photography: The groom is a bullrider and competes locally in Georgetown, Texas where the couple is getting married. The bride, Heather, thought it would be fun to incorporate the western theme into their engagement session since bullriding is something that is a big part of both of their lives. Chris competes and Heather cheers him on at rodeos. We shot the session at the public rodeo arena in Georgetown, Texas. Chris brought along his chaps and bullriding vest, as well as his rope, spurs, and cowboy hat. It was too dangerous to shoot with the actual bulls but we did get a few shots with Heather riding a horse bareback! I love the bright colors of Chris’ uniform. I also love how genuine the shoot was. They didnt dress up to play a part. These are the actual clothes he wears to ride bulls. And if you’ve ever met a girl from Texas, you know that we LOVE our cowboy boots and are convinced they go with pretty much any outfit we could put on. Heather and Chris are getting married this October at Angel Springs Event Center.
