This wedding is all about the romance. Jessica Burke Photography was the woman behind the lens snapping image after gorgeous image along with design star, Lovely Little Details, who crafted an abundance of romantic details and tucked them into every pretty nook and cranny. Blushing pinks, fluffy peonies, a crowned cake… it’s all making a stylish appearance at these Napa Valley nuptials. See the whole day in all its pink shining glory here!

From the Bride…Daniel and I hoped to plan a wedding that spoke to both the love we had for each other and for our friends and family. Our hope was that our guests not be spectators at an event but rather be a part of our wedding, each with their hands involved, getting to know one another to truly have a memorable experience to recall for years to come.
We found our intimate and romantic setting in Napa Valley, far from home on the east coast for us and most of our guests but nothing else could rival its beauty and charm. We found a beautiful estate that would become the center of the events for the four days our guests were able to share with us. It was the perfect setting for our comfortable but classic affair, fusing together an elegant feel with the rustic backdrop of the vineyards.
Because this was at a private estate, Jacin and Chelsea (of Lovely Little Details) spent countless hours setting up the space the day and night before the wedding hanging tea lights from the cedar beams, placing mason jars around the reflection pool in the courtyard, rolling wine barrels to set up the bar, filling the wine crate boxes with excelsior, tying ribbons on every kissing bell and sea salt favor, custom designing the signage and place cards, making the chalkboard signs, and setting up every detail for the big day. It was a true labor of love.
We had a traditional ceremony Saturday afternoon at Grace Church in St. Helena. The intimate stone sanctuary was filled with tears and laughter as we said our vows. My dear friend and bridesmaid, Rachael, sang Ave Maria while we gave communion to each of our guests. It was moving and joyous, and everything we could have wanted. Our ceremony will remain without a doubt my most treasured part of our wedding. We continued the celebration at the estate. We kicked things off with lots of Napa Valley sparkling wine while guests enjoyed playing bocce and croquet. When we moved to dinner, our guests sat at one long wooden table overlooking the vineyards as the Fil Lorenz Orchestra played in the background. We left the décor simple and rustic. I love simple garden flowers and have experience in floral design, so I took that on with the help of our mothers and my wonderful girlfriends. We had old mint julep cups filled with sweet peas and stuffed with sweet smelling peonies. Garden roses lined the table in gorgeous glass bud vases. Beautiful epi wreathes of bread from Bouchon bakery were scattered throughout the table along with bottles of wine from Hendry’s Vineyard where we toured as a group on Thursday. Each of our guests helped us pick out each bottle that was served that night. We are ever so thankful to our friends and family for their hard work in making our wedding happen. It was with their help that we became who we are and it was with them we shared in our new beginning.
