We’ve always known that the Aussie’s know how to throw a gorgeous wedding and I’m officially in love this next down under fête with it’s elegant touches, endless white peonies, and too-cute-for-words flower girls. But my absolute favorite part has got to be the adorable couple’s reception at none other than the Sydney Opera House. Hello, amazing iconic locale! These images from Blumenthal Photography are so beyond gorgeous that I insist you get to the gallery asap!

From the Bride…I was so excited to see David at the end of the aisle and when I got there, he whispered to me, “you look breathtaking.” Announcing that we were husband and wife and being able to kiss David was so memorable.
Food, wine, family and friends were a big part of our wedding, which is why we chose Guillaume at Bennelong. Not only were we guaranteed amazing food and wine, but the layout of the beautiful Opera House meant that both David and myself felt surrounded and close to everyone that had made the effort to celebrate our wedding. Guests were treated to a choice of different red and white wines over dinner, a choice of three entrees, mains and deserts, a cheese platter and desert wine. We wanted to create a night, just as David and I enjoy ourselves when we are out for dinner – very indulgent! After dinner, we served my father’s homemade limoncello that he had made especially for our wedding. It meant that I could bring a bit of my heritage and family tradition to the amazing Opera House. It felt very special. The Sommelier commented that it was the best limoncello he had tried!
A tear was brought to my eye when mum said, and to honour our Italian heritage, ” Viva gli sposi” which means Long Live the Newlyweds – after that, everyone started clinking their glasses as a sign for David and I to kiss.
