Happy 4th of July, lovelies! It’s a glorious, sunny holiday and I can’t think of a better way to kick off all of the festivities than with these charming South Carolina nuptials captured by the amazing Terra Bailey Photography. This wedding is filled to the brim with sweet, southern style and I am completely enamored with every single detail. These fabulous florals designed by a friend of the bride (and with just a touch of red, white and blue) and stunning location have me swooning. Have you ever seen a tree-covered lane as gorgeous as this one?!? And, of course, who wouldn’t adore the patriotic grand exit (the bride is American and the groom is British). Love it. And you will, too. So, start your holiday right… in the gallery! And then have a safe and wonderful 4th of July!

From Terra Bailey Photography…This sweet DIY wedding, held at the beautiful Belfair Plantation in Bluffton, SC, made for the perfect day. From bouquets of peonies to hand-stamped guests signature cards, Carrie thought of every detail that would make her wedding day perfect.
Carrie and Paul were married in June. This sweet and stylish couple live in Manhattan but wanted a charming, southern wedding. Carrie’s family is from North Carolina and Paul’s family is from England so the setting provided the perfect vacation for hundreds of family and friends across the world. They used a soft color palette consisting of pale pinks, greens, lace and ribbons.
Carrie and Paul said their vows overlooking the Hilton Head marsh and the lavish golf course. The reception took place in the Belfair Clubhouse with every detail met. Keeping with the couple’s southern vision, all tables were graced with a small cluster of flowers and the every type of food imaginable was offered. The bride and groom threw a real party, along with the Extraordiniaires band from Hickory, NC. Since Carrie is from America and Paul is from England, the couple planned a grand exit with American and British flags, where they were led to their own personal golf cart.
