From Love Me Do Photography…Claudia and Nick had a really elegant, but still rustic wedding in Southern Maryland. The location at Woodlawn Farms was perfect. It provided a beautiful place for the bride, groom, family and friends to stay for the weekend as well as a picturesque ceremony site overlooking the bay and a huge outdoor space for lawn games and mingling. Claudia looked amazing in her Jenny Packham vintage style dress. The couple were able to put so much of themselves into their wedding. They bought flowers from a local farm and assembled them themselves. They made all the jam and sauce favors/place settings for their guests as well as the mason jar candles (using wax from old candles bought on freecycle) on every table. They also made the table runners and table numbers with wooden hearts and an old copy of Romeo and Juliet. Claudia and Nick are about to embark on a year long trip around the world, so they used a 1912 atlas as their guest book. Guests would stamp a page with a tandem bicycle stamp and sign. They did not have a bridal party, but a large group of friends who all helped out and got to stay at Woodlawn. It was such a fun wedding to photograph.
