Rustic.chic.perfection. That’s this wedding in a nut shell. And it takes place in the South of France no less. I really don’t know if it gets better than that. Seriously. I could almost eat the images from Xavier Navarro Photographie they are each so delicious, and the entire affair looks so incredibly flawless, I can’t even believe it’s real. The florals by Sabine Flowers, found in ever corner of this fête, are just scrumptious and enough to make even your Monday magical. It’s all oh so good, and there is even more gorgeous in the full gallery of images!

From the Bride…Three years ago I went to my first trip to the South of France and I fell in love with it; cobbled streets of picturesque villages, lavender fragrance in the air, taste of rose wine and tiny family restaurants in shade of sycamores. On the last evening in Cannes, I was in a bar with my girlfriends when a French guy caught my eye. We started to talk and the rest of the world disappeared. I almost missed my flight back to Russia. For three years, we were counting days between his trips to Moscow and my trips to Cannes… and then it was the time to make THE big step!
South of France is the most beautiful place for wedding I could ever imagine. Stephane and me visited lots of breath-taking venues but have finally chosen Auberge des Adrets – a truly Provencal stone ‘bastide’ with history dating back to XVII century. The concept and the feel of the wedding was clear to us from the very beginning, we wanted to stay with the French rustic chic theme and also give a chance to our French friends to taste Russian culture. We wanted it to be laid back and intimate so we invited only our closest friends and family. Instead of table service we had two themed buffets. The seats were not assigned, people were free to mix up and everyone loved it. For decorating the photo booth corner used the photos from our childhood. The ceremony was supposed to be held in the garden but rain changed our plans and we moved it to a small terrace, all covered with ivy which made the ceremony even more intimate. The priest had even managed to hold the ceremony in two languages and gently guided us to saying “Oui” to the storm of applause.
We feel really blessed because it was our friends who helped us make our wedding a truly unforgettable day. Christophe, one of the best chefs in the region was working magic in the kitchen, Fred was astonishing the public with his tricks, and Owi was playing sax, singing and making the guests dance like crazy. We were also very lucky to meet Sabine, our genius designer, who was running all over French Riviera finding vintage vases, barrels and tablecloths. The day turned out to be everything we imagined and even more, a total representation of us and the people we love.
