Provence Wedding by One and Only Paris Photography

I'm ready to favorite this post, and I haven't even written it yet. Scrolling through it just feels like a light-infused dream. If there was ever a swoon-fest going on over here, it's most definitely happening now. This Jimmy Choo dream come true wedding takes place in picturesque Provence, a regal region the bride fell in love with thanks to another Provence SMP wedding shot by the one and only One and Only Paris Photography. Every picture looks as though it's from a fairytale - so completely romantic it doesn't look real. Pitter patter doesn't even begin to explain what my heart is doing right now and you can see all the reasons why in the full gallery of gorgeous images.

From One and Only Paris Photography... We met Quentin and Rumi in a cafe in Paris to speak of their wedding to come less than 2 months before the event. Rumi is Japanese and Quentin is French; they met in Tokyo and now live in Hong Kong, but getting married in France was a sure thing for them. Rumi saw a previous wedding in Provence we shot last year on SMP and fell in love with the ambiance.

The ceremony and speeches were very intense due to the recent events in Japan. In both Japanese and French the day was rich in emotions. This romantic wedding in France was a sweet and soft day under the warm light of Provence. Rumi was smiling all day: she was getting married in a French Chateau! Indeed, the venue was very impressive and the florist did an amazing job. She was wearing a necklace made of French lace (dentelle de Calais) and her earrings were from Japan.

The ceremony was held in an ancient church in a tiny village: lavender was thrown to the couple as they exited. The smell was delightful.
