Pst! We’re about to let you in on a little secret. There is a reason we love Blooms by Martha Andrews as much as little girls love pink. It all comes down to wedding’s like this California ranch affair. Martha is the queen of lavish, luxe florals. Her events always are ab.so.lute.ly perfect in the floral department. And this one, captured by Alexandra Frankel Photography, is perfect in just about every other department too. Seriously, check out that sweet cake from Sweet Cakes by Rebecca. It’s stunning. From PLUSH … Ah, Sarah and Josh? Super fond memories come to mind when I think of this extra special couple. So young, so sweet and so in love! Having met one evening after a high-school dance, they haven’t left each other’s side since that night. Sarah and Josh hired PLUSH to plan their wedding back in 2009.
Big, big, big was what they wanted. Beach wedding in San Francisco, crystals everywhere and lots of pink! Sarah was going to be the bell of the ball and Josh, the knight in shining armor. But as time went on and the planning began, they realized that what we were designing didn’t really fit what they originally “thought” they wanted. So, after about 8 months of planning we shifted gears and got down to the nitty-gritty of who they really were as a couple, and what it was they truly wanted.
Josh’s parents have 20 acres in Newcastle, California. Breathtaking rolling hills, perfectly manicured pond, a hay barn with just the right amount of character, hay bales galore and endless memories shared with everyone attending! They also plan on building their home together on this property after the wedding. It was a perfect match! Sarah still got her crystals and her pinks, and Josh got his country rock. These two combined painted a perfect illustration of simple elegance and eye candy galore!
Each and every detail from the save the dates, to the venue, to the last dance, was an exact representation of Sarah and Josh’s vision of their wedding day, and most importantly who they are as a couple. It was most definitely a collaborative event in which each and every vendor played an important role in this seamless wedding. It was absolutely perfect.
