St. Augustine Wedding by Threaded Together Photography

When you have big, fun personalities likes this next couple you have to go big in the wedding color department.  I love the combination of blue and yellow used here from the table decor to bouquets.  It’s not too over the top but definitely makes a statement and with a wedding mantra of “Big, Bling and Beautiful!” I think that might have been what they were going for!  Threaded Together Photography totally makes the colors pop all over this St. Augustine affair and it looks like such a blast.  Click here to see even more!

From the Bride… Our wedding day style was Big, Bling and Beautiful!  With tons of help from friends and family, I added some personal touches that I think made the wedding more memorable for everyone.  My friend Melissa is a graphic designer, and offered to make my invitations, save the dates, family tree canvas and programs for me. Melissa used our engagement photos for the save the dates. Our theme was… HE and SHE become WE. They were amazing!  Being that neither Josh nor I are Jacksonville natives, we had a lot of out of town guests. We made personalized welcome baskets for each guest and delivered them to their hotels. It was very important for me that everyone had a good time! I arranged for babysitters at the River house along with personalized Easter baskets so the kids were always entertained!

Josh and I both have a love for music. We really wanted the ceremony music to be special. The bridesmaids walked down to “Marry Me” I walked town to “Run Away with Me” and we both walked away to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”  We also wanted to the reception music to be special and for everyone to have fun. I made a basket filled with flip flops and painted a sign that said “Tired Feet.” So there were no excuses not to be out on the dance floor. For favors we ordered personalized candy bags and had an awesome candy bar full of yellow and blue favorites!

I love flowers! We had three different centerpieces in the ballroom. The centerpieces were amazing, tall and full of yellow, ivory and blue flowers. Each table was set with Crinkle Taffeta Twilight Blue linens which made the flowers pop. There were hundreds of floating candles surrounding the room it was truly breathtaking when the sun went down.

Josh’s wedding gift was amazing. He wrote me an 8 page letter that represented our love story, past present and future. Each page of the letter had instructions to open a different gift. The gift brought the entire bridal suite to tears.  Another favorite moment was when Josh and I were dancing for the first time and our wedding party started singing our song!
