This northern Florida wedding is all about cheerful pops of color and I’m loving the mix of contrasting yet harmonizing hues this bride put together. From her blue shoes to the ring bearer’s orange bow tie, this wedding is one happy little rainbow of love. Photographed perfectly by Nate Henderson, these photos are sure to put a smile on your face. From Nate Henderson: Katie, who grew up in Jacksonville, loved the idea of an old Florida garden party as inspiration for her wedding ceremony and reception; she selected The Ribault Club on Fort George Island (a historic piece of land just east of Jacksonville, now an ecological and history preserve). She sought a fun and relaxed vintage feel with just a hint of elegance. And since it is the Sunshine State, Katie wanted plenty of vibrant color. There was an abundance of oranges, bright lanterns, and vintage Florida post cards that she and her mom collected together. A Flamingo couple topped with a veil and top hat made an appearance, along with an assortment of other bird themes. They wed under a gigantic oak tree on the back lawn of The Ribault Club. Afterwards, guests enjoyed the sunset next to the water (just a stone’s throw from Club), as well as the cool breezes on the lawn. After much dancing through the night, Andy and Katie exited to the sound of kazoos into a vintage Rolls Royce with friends and family waving on.
