Leave it to SUGAR & FLUFF to create an out-of-this-world, Wes Anderson-inspired wedding at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. The amount of thought and creativity put into each and every little detail is mind-blowing from the topiary deer at the ceremony to the Royal Tenenbaums style photo booth. Each clever touch is photographed in sweet, vintage style by Abi Q Photography. From Abi Q…What a lovely wedding Naomi and Will had at the Ace hotel in Palm Springs! The details were to die for. Sugar and Fluff were the design team and they did such an amazing job bring Naomi and Will’s vision of a Wes Anderson, Royal Tenenbaums inspired wedding to life. They made sure every.detail.of.the.day.was.perfect. And it was.
They even set up the amazing photo booth complete with tennis rackets, miniature horses and fur coats for the guests to take photos in during the reception, which was brilliant. The bride, Naomi, had her dress custom made by Shin Bu Bridal, and it was gorgeous recreation of a dress you might of seen in the 60’s and fit her wedding style perfectly. Naomi is also a chef and so made all her own favors of Sangria jam for her guests. The brides friend, Marissa Sharon, a pastry chef, made the cakes and the most to die for s’more deserts I’ve ever tasted. Amazing.
Since Naomi and Will love all things with a vintage flair, I shot some expired film during the wedding to add to the flavor of the photos.
