Santa Barbara Photo Shoot by Joy de Vivre + Florette Designs + Patrick Moyer Photography

Today is a wonderful day of new beginnings!  Spring is in the air and our brand spankin’ new California blog is taking off!  We’ll be bringing you daily doses of inspiration from all over this great state from San Diego to Sacramento.  I can’t think of a better way to ring in all this excitement than with some perfect Santa Barbara Spring wedding inspiration from Joy de Vivre, Florette Designs + Patrick Moyer Photography.  The overflowing flower arrangements, pops of orange and the bride’s adorable blush two-piece ensemble feel so fresh, light and oh-so right.  It has just the perfect amount of rustic with a healthy dose of glam.  Check out even more here!

From Joy de Vivre… Totally inspired by spring, Kelly Kaufman of Florette Designs and I teamed up with fabulous photographer, Patrick Moyer Photography, to create a fresh lilac, blush and tangerine hued wedding inspiration.  Our backdrop was an incredible old ranch on the beautiful Santa Barbara coast.

Kelly and I found some fun orange glassware from Anthropologie, and paired them with lots of mercury glass, lacework dinner plates, and antique silverware.  After playing with lots of different linens from the amazing La Tavola Linen, we decided to go with the Tuscany Natural.  This is my go to linen for any rustic inspired design, and I’m guilty of overusing it! To keep the menus fun and fresh, I designed sweet tags which we wrapped around the napkins and glammed-up with sprigs of lilac. To help guests find their seats, we placed seating assignments in a sweet wire-work frame found on Amazon.com. We found a really fun tangerine spritzer that we made some cute tags for, and set them out as favors.

The amazing Rachel Moyer found the sweetest models, and styled them impeccably. She dressed the bride in a long silk skirt and a striped peach top for the beautiful, fresh two-piece look.  Denae kept the makeup very fresh and light, and left the brides hair loose and romantic to add to the overall look.
