Chanel Inspiration from Soiree + Tana Photography

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous. – Coco Chanel. Classy and Fabulous are just the right words to describe this Chanel Inspired photo shoot. Brandi of Soiree put together a Chanel worthy team of the best wedding vendors to style this to-die-for shoot. Coco Chanel herself would have been proud. The shoot is dripping in pearls, diamonds, pink, and gold, and could not be more fabulous. AND the FAB images come from one of our favorite photographers, Tana Photography! Are you ready to feel a little more girly, and a whole lot more giddy? Don your pearls and check out the gallery!

From BrandiWhen we set out to design a photo shoot full of romance, we needed a piece of inspiration as a starting point. That inspiration came from a gorgeous necklace, dripping with pearls, gold, and, a girl’s best friend, diamonds. From there, the design unfolded; we drew from Coco Chanel’s iconic vintage style, including the color scheme the designer is known for – pale pinks, bold black, and gold.

Our goal was to marry all of the elements of the necklace to French style in the table elements, from pearls in the flowers and bouquets, gold-rimmed china and details, crystal, and even adding pink pearl buttons down the tossing cones on each chair. The flowers by Boise At Its Best were lush and romantic and not only smelled heavenly but also created our perfect juxtaposition to the bold black and white stripes of the napkins and cones.

When we think of a night of romance, chocolates and desserts always come to mind. The cakes, designed by award-winning pastry chef Greg Marsh, mirrored the necklace with their pearls and baubles, and featured red velvet with cream cheese filling – the ultimate romantic dessert to cap off an evening. Mini cakes at each place setting enclosed in their own dessert plates added to the drama, and truffles in gold boxes served as favors for each of the guests.

Finally, we held the photo shoot in a quaint little cottage full of vintage charm. Miss Tami’s Cottage & Tea Room was the perfect backdrop for our vision of a fabulous evening full of love, style, and vintage touches. All of the vendors included in this shoot did a beautiful job bringing the inspiration to life; from the French stationery by Ampersand Studios to the vintage gown by Chic Boutique, all the way to the gorgeous brocade linen and chiavari chairs by Brown Party Rental, we couldn’t have done it without them!
