This week, we may have gracefully stumbled across the newest pretty spot to get married – Oregon’s Garden Vineyard. The Pacific Northwest vibe combined with the sweet vineyard ambiance seems to be a perfect marriage of chic wedding styles. We’re absolutely loving it. This gorgeous wedding at Garden Vineyards in Oregon is proof. Erin from the renowned Blush Bridal Consultation Group helped our bride take all her wedding inspiration (lots from Style Me Pretty!) and fuse it into a simply fabulous event. My husband and I met while working at a marketing agency in Portland, Oregon. He is an art director and I was a project manager. This turned out to be a pretty good team when it came to designing a wedding. I had so much fun with the planning process and it didn’t hurt that I had a talented designer as a fiancé to help bring my vision to life.
We held our wedding and reception at Garden Vineyards. We had gone wine tasting on our first date so we were excited to find such a wonderful vineyard venue. Not only was the drive from the main road to the vineyard spectacular (including driving under the oldest wooden railroad trestle in the United States that is still in use), the view from the ceremony location was breathtaking, and the venue itself was beautiful without much extra effort needed. Everything about it was perfect.
We wanted our wedding to be elegant yet incredibly fun. I spent a ton of time browsing the internet (mostly on Style Me Pretty) for inspiration and I had so many ideas that I had to constantly edit myself. Erin from Blush Bridal Consultation Group was a huge help. Pink is my absolute favorite color so we selected a color palette of pinks, ivory & champagne. I also love big, swoopy fonts so we incorporated the font on our wedding invitation into as many printed elements as possible. Everything from our save the dates, wedding invitations, programs, petal toss bags, table numbers, menus, lollipop favors, cake flags, photobooth photo strips, koozies to our thank you cards incorporated our wedding logo.
So many people pitched in to help make my dream wedding a reality. My cousin (who just so happens to be the very talented florist) did the flowers; one of my bridesmaids made pocket squares for all the groomsmen from an extra bridesmaid dress; my new father-in-law made the cork place card holders with corks from wine that Brent and I had been saving since we started dating; my aunt played the flute during the ceremony; and the same rabbi that married us married my parents over 30 years ago.
It was so amazing to see everything come together on our wedding day. It all looked perfect and, most importantly, our favorite people in the world were there to celebrate with us. It was exactly what we had hoped for.
