Three Spectacular Weddings from Life Stage Films

Oh my, do we have a treat for you today. We know it’s Saturday, and I’m sure you have lots of fun and exciting things planned for this first weekend of April, but boy do we have a great way for you to start your day. THREE wedding highlights from Life Stage Films. You read that correctly, three. Each is completely unique. Each is completely magical. And each is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and start your day off right. A tremendous thank you to Life Stage Films for constantly providing us with delicious eye candy that always warms the heart. Oh, and just so you know … Matt Davis and his crew of filmmakers have recently been awarded that highly sought after “top 25 videography studios” in the world by EventDV Magazine. HUGE congratulation to them from us!

From Life Stage … Arguably one of our most favorite places to film in the coastal south is Sea Island Resort, off of St. Simons Island, Georgia. The Cloister Gardenat Sea Island was an absolutely breathtaking spot for the ceremony.

What I enjoy most about filming an event like a wedding, is that I get to see everything from both perspectives. Angela and B.C. did not see each other before the wedding, so it was extra cool to see how each of them spent their time and how each felt that morning. The thing I’m most impressed with, is that Angela and B.C. surprised ALL their guests, even their parents, with a performance by an amazing local gospel choir. The feeling in that garden was surreal. It was a very unique wedding indeed. Everything, from the heartfelt toasts, to the choreographed  first dance, to the amazing cake and fireworks exit, made this wedding a spectacular event.

This first highlight brings us B.C. and Angela’s show stopping gorgeous wedding on this little island off the Georgia Coast. Ready?

How beautiful was that? Life Stage has such a beautiful way of piecing together the most touching images and moments of the most important day in a couple’s life. Their films can evoke such strong emotions. And that is why I’m excited to share not one, but TWO more highlights from this amazing team today! First up, we have an adorable North Carolina winery wedding.

From Michelle at Life Stage … It was so exciting to pull off one of the biggest surprises in Life Stage Films history. We shot Kelly and Jeremy’s wedding all day, and actually edited a highlights video to show at the reception that night! The catch with this one, is that it was a total surprise to the bride and groom, as a gift from the father of the bride, John. We even filmed Kelly and Jeremy’s reaction as they watched this video LIVE for the first time. Especially sneaky of us was we showed the video to the 300+ guests only 30 minutes after the first dance, which we included in the final video.

The details and the emotions of this wedding day took center stage. The weather was perfect, and the atmosphere of excitement was even better. Some of my favorite moments captured were, of course, the moment Jeremy saw Kelly in her dress for the first time during the First Look, but also the excitement as the girls got ready and especially when Jeremy’s mom pinned his boutonniere on him. And cowboy boots? Heck yeah! Loved that. It was a perfect way to top off this beautiful country wedding at the Duplin winery in North Carolina.

Kelly & Jeremy – Same Day Edit from Life Stage Films

Life Stage is lucky to make such close connections with our brides, grooms, and families. Such close connections in fact, that the Salmon family trusted us to film BOTH their son’s and their daughter’s weddings just months apart. After a successful “same-day-edit” shown above as a surprise at Kelly and Jeremy’s wedding, we pulled the same stunt at their son, Ben’s wedding in Kentucky. Kelly’s wedding took place at the beautiful Duplin Winery in Rose Hill, NC. Ben and Brittany’s Wedding took place in Paducah, Kentucky.

Ben and Brittany’s video shows nothing but the true love between the two of them. They have amazing families with hilarious mothers who put on a “southern skit” for them at the rehearsal dinner. They were most excited to be “celebrating the beauty of marriage with our closest friends and family.” They had a beautiful wedding with over 300 guests. This was the biggest Same-Day-Edit we ever pulled off.
