A California Wedding by Gia Canali + a Shared Dress

The story of the gorgeous Lhuillier gown continues at this romantic coastal wedding and, once again, the talented Gia Canali was there to capture the event.  Not many dresses get to live through two magical evenings so different and yet still oh-so beautiful.  This affair is cozy, intimate and completely elegant with fun jewel-tone hues and, of course, that showstopper of a dress!  More of the dress and the details are in the full wedding gallery!

Held just two weeks after Katie & Karl’s wedding, Laura & Brian’s wedding had a very different feel.  They used rich, saturated colors in their design — oranges, blues, deep chocolate aeonium purples, and fern green.  For their floral centerpieces, this meant arrangements of just one or two kinds of blooms (or succulents!) in silver vases.  For their guests, and especially for Laura’s girlfriends, this meant saturated jewel tones.

The ceremony was held in the back yard of the restaurant for a homey, natural feel among the oak trees.  We loved the clean (almost spare!) airy feeling of The Olema Inn.  It really felt very understated. The reception filled every room in the inn and dinner was served to guests in the various rooms.  Everybody reunited for dancing!
