For anyone that has ever visited Austin, you know that it can provide one of THE most gorgeous backdrops for a wedding. So much so, that I’d venture to say we’ve saved the very best wedding for last today. Designed by Sarah Miller of Caplan Miller Events, with flowers by Petal Pushers and photography by Kate Mefford, this little number is luxe done so so right. With a sense of intimacy and style tucked into each and every corner. So if you’re anything like us, you’ll definitely want to click on the gallery to see a bit more.

Melissa Waldrop wanted her wedding to be an unforgettable party and wanted to forget all the traditions. There was no cake cutting, father-daughter dance or big send-off for this bride. Instead, we held a very intimate ceremony at a historic home on Barton Creek, where guests all gathered around the couple in a circle. Guests enjoyed fine cigars and scotch during the cocktail hour, where the topic of discussion was “what is up with those swans?” Afterwards guests dined on the lawn under vintage chandeliers hanging from the oak trees. DJ Chicken George got everyone shaking on the dance floor and once all had worked up their appetites again we served Chick-fil-A, the bride’s favorite!
