I mean, how cool? To enter and find out more details, head to Blue Nile’s Facebook Page.
For the “Sing It.” portion of the contest, eleven winners of the weekly contest will have their own love story put to music crafted by Green River Ordinance. They will then be serenaded with their personalized song and given a recorded version to share with friends and family. Your own personal love story that incorporates elements from your own experiences. Ummm, hello coolness.
So, in the spirit of engagement fun, we thought that we would add to the celebration by offering up all of you bride and grooms-to-be, some tips for crafting the perfect proposal.
1. Make it personal. Yes, the over-the-top, no-holds bar proposals are great…but it’s the personal touches that really make it memorable. Her favorite flower, the place you first laid eyes on her, a dessert she obsesses over. Those sorts of things.
2. Remember her unique personality when crafting the perfect proposal. If she is a private person, make it personal and intimate. If she loves a great party, invite friends and family to help celebrate.
3. Choose a ring that she will love forever. You can even download the Blue Nile app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to comparison shop in real time for the very best diamonds at the very best price. Blue Nile also lets you customize each piece so that you can craft a ring that suits her own unique style. Oh and they ship priority overnight with a 30 day return policy. Kind of like the best little set-up ever.
