Next in the lineup of wedding goodies is the sweetest of sweet backyard affairs photographed by Nicole Hill Gerulat. The bride and groom are the epitome of perfect and managed to create a day that truly reflected their love. And the icing on the proverbial cake? They served none other than authentic Mexican tacos at their garden reception. For a California girl and a lover of all things Mexican food (who now lives in Boston with no good tacos in sight), this happens to be my absolute dream wedding feast. Kudos to the cute couple. Check out more from this fabulous day in the gallery.
From the Bride…
From the cakes down to the authentic Mexican Tacos, our wedding represented everything we love. Instead of having a stuffy reception we wanted to have an outdoor garden party with our closest friends and family and keep the feeling light-hearted and simple. My mom’s gorgeous yard was the perfect venue. I absolutely love how everything turned out. Even the napkins made me happy! The bright colors and fresh flowers gave a very fresh and organic feel that we loved. We tried to carry the garden theme throughout the reception with vintage watering cans, various wildflower arrangements, flower seed packet favors, pictures hung on garden trellises, etc. We even supplied Jones soda to help personalize the event and add a fun flare. All in all it was an amazing day and we cannot believe it has already been a year!
