So this might be a little bit blah for some of you brides out there but for those of you that are as wedding obsessed as I am, I know you will totally appreciate the awesomeness of Engage 2010, the educational conference for wedding pro’s down at The Breakers in Palm Beach that we’re lucky enough to be attending. Masterminded by the genius that is Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce, this is like the mecca of wedding conferences. We’re talking the creme de la creme of wedding gurus…Event Designers Mindy Weiss, Marcy Blum & Bryan Rafanelli, Martha Stewart Weddings editor Darcy Miller, The Knot founder Carley Roney and one of my favs, Say Yes to the Dress celeb Randy Fenoli (among MANY others). And guess who got to jump on stage and join the fun…ME!
That was me gabbing it up on stage with Darcy Miller, Amy Atlas and the fabulous Donna Newman… chatting mostly about balancing family with work, about running a successful company while still making time for babies, husbands and everything else. Kind of amazing right?
But honestly, the best part about Engage 2010 has been the passion and inspiration that you can literally feel as you walk into each room. The ideas are swirling, people are connecting, the innovation is really starting to take hold. It’s so amazing to see so many creative people under one roof rooting for each other, making connections that will probably last for years, and ultimately learning how to grow the businesses that make them tick. It’s a really cool thing to be a part of and I’m feeling pretty lucky.

Thank you again to everyone who made this possible for us. SMP is definitely better because of Engage and we’re walking away so excited, motivated and inspired to take this little business of ours to an entirely new level. Love that. We’ve put together a few more details for those that are interested. Click here to see the fun, photographed by Mel Barlow Photography and Allan Zepeda.
Thanks so much to Katheryn, Rebecca and the Breakers for flying us down and gifting us a great place to rest our bones for a few days.
