The wedding took place in the tiny town of St. David’s near Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada at a lovely new winery called Ravine Vineyards. Ravine has an amazing little restaurant that opens throughout the summer and has become a destination spot for theatre-going tourists. Except for Ravine itself, everything was DIY: the invites and save-the-dates, the programs and the cute little booklets carried by the bride & groom–those were all created by the bride who is a graphic designer in real life. She also made the incredible find-your-seat photo board–with the help of facebook, twitter and perhaps myspace. The bride and groom found the chunky numbers for the tables and hired a chef from Toronto to cater a completely vegetarian Indian dinner. The bride’s aunt cut out all the little fabric flags and made them into those colorful banners.
