Sometimes weddings come across my desk that just make me smile. Weddings like this one that have such a lovely light hearted spirit about them, you can’t help but grin from ear to ear. Ones that makes you want to join the party. Ones that say it’s OK to kick your shoes off and eat some burgers or skip down the aisle if you so prefer. You Look Nice Today Photography was the genius behind the camera for this fun Oregon wedding and they nailed it. They completely captured that easy breezy, laid-back, fun loving spirit that is exuding from this day. Perfect for a Friday, no? See every last cute detail in the gallery.
From You Look Nice Today:
Dan and Julia were married at Bridal Veil Falls up the Columbia Gorge just outside of Portland, Oregon. This location was almost magical with so many wonderful pockets of light. As evidenced by the photos, the couple was so full of life and so completely crazy about each other. Here are just some of the moments of their wedding that I loved: they skipped down the aisle and skipped back after the ceremony to the hard rock/pseudo-metal song “I Believe In a Thing Called Love” by The Darkness; they had canoes available for the guests; lawn games on the lower field; and (one of my favorite parts) they had a local burger chain named “Burgerville” cater the whole thing. Burgerville is a northwest only chain that uses only local produce and ingredients. (Personally, they rival anything that the famous burger joint “In ‘n Out” produces.) The whole wedding was so fun and so quirky. Loved it!
