When I visited Sonoma for the first time nearly ten years ago, you would have thought I was looking at the eighth wonder of the world. I was so taken aback by the rustic, understated elegance, by the total, unabashed beauty of the area, you could have knocked me over with a feather. So although I know we feature a lot of wine country weddings, each one is incredibly beautiful and I honestly can’t help but share the goodness with you. And this wine country wedding is no exception. Photographed by Micah Dahlberg Photography and planned by Jenne Hohn Events, it’s a lesson in unfussy, uber-approachable sophistication. Where the backdrop itself is so beautiful you can hardly believe it’s real. Click here to see LOTS of additional details including some killer blue shoes!

From Michah and Megan of Micah Dahlberg Photography…We had the opportunity of photographing an absolutely charming winery wedding a couple of weeks ago. Leslie and Rob (the Bride and Groom) are from England and they had a destination wedding in Sonoma Wine Country, California. Their details were fun and interesting with highlights of tandem bicycles and intricate wildflowers. She planned the entire wedding from England and had all of her designs and details shipped to California before the wedding day. Every last detail of the wedding, including the old pub looking tables at the reception with no table cloths, was Leslie’s idea. The bride and groom were AMAZING! They were so fun and laid back and were up for anything! Their guest list of about 40 people made the day intimate and truly special.
