Rustic Canadian Wedding by Jamie Delaine Photography

We are so very excited to share today’s goods with you. We have some serious style and gorgeous headed your way and it is going to start with this sweet as can be day from photographer Jamie Delaine. This intimate, outdoor wedding took place in the gorgeous countryside of Penticton, British Columbia and all of the natural, organic details are so thoughtful, so easy breezy and perfectly executed. Take for instance the fact that the couple collected their favorite micro-brewed beer from all over Canada to serve at their reception..umm we are so in love with that! Not to mention the fact that the bride, Laurell, is a singer/songwriter with a hit song out right now so you can imagine the talent and style that ran wild at these nuptials. Check out the rest of this beautiful, rustic, boot-clad, awesome day in the gallery.

From Photographer Jamie Delaine:

Laurell and Trevor had a beautiful, intimate, low-key outdoor wedding in Penticton with 50 guests. It rained for a whole of two minutes, bookended by brilliant blue sky and sun-drenched trees. The couple chose not to have a wedding party with such a small group, and Laurell and her girlfriends arranged the flowers the morning of the wedding. Laurell made her dress “her own” by having her mother sew on a gorgeous feather flower, actually a headpiece. Trevor wore antique leather shoes from the 30’s and Laurell changed into her cowboy boots for their photo walk. Laurell’s dad (a carpenter) made the place settings out of beach wood. The couple served micro-brewed beer from all over Canada (they collected it on tour) and their favourite wine was enjoyed all afternoon and evening – Pentage, brought from the vineyard-next-door. The caterers gathered organic food and ingredients from the local farmer’s market and their own garden for dinner. The wedding party dined at one long table al fresco under the trees and enjoyed the most delicious meal in of venison tenderloin, wild mushroom risotto, and organic veggies in a casual, family style setting. The whole day was relaxed, beautiful, perfect.
