This next wedding is all about the fun. Carefree, whimsical, dance-your-tail-off kind of fun. Photographed by the FAB husband and wife duo, Leon and Stella Alesi, I couldn’t help but fall head over heels for Austin, Texas this fete. Favorite part? The colorful paper poms that completely transform the space. But remember, this is only a tidbit of the actual wedding goodness. There is so much more fun to be had in the gallery, right here!

From Leon and Stella Alesi…Lillian and Caleb were married earlier this spring in Austin, Texas. The venue was Mercury Hall, an old chapel that was moved to this central Austin location and then renovated into a simple yet beautiful space. Lillian was born and raised in Austin, but her and her now husband Caleb presently reside in NYC. They brought with them a wonderful sense of contemporary style, again simple but beautiful.
I loved the many colored blue ties they wore and the vests, no jackets, (it’s hot here in Austin). The bridesmaid dresses mimicked the shades of blue of the groomsmen’s ties. The bride’s dress was perfect, just below the knee, and peeking out from beneath the skirt a pale blue petticoat. Her shoes were a golden yellow.
The brides mother is an artist and designed the invitations and helped with the decorations, using blue as a base color but then adding many colored paper “poofs” and flower arrangements to the room. The effect was festive and screamed of springtime.
