DIY Wedding by Belathee, II

Okay, SMP-ers. On to the really good part from today’s wedding…the details. The screen-printed ceremony backdrop that was re-used as a photobooth, the sweet flowers, the INSANE paper goods from DIY coasters to placecards. I could seriously go on and on about all of the perfect touches that the couple infused that not only captured their personality, that also made the space so warm and so inviting. And SO chic. I mean, even the guests were completely adorable. Photographed beautifully by the absolutely awesome pair at Belathee, this wedding is perfection!

From Belathee

The flowers were done by a friend, using bottles of different shapes and sizes. Guests dined on incredible fresh, organic food prepared by Katie Powers Catering. The “mess hall” in the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts has amazing long wooden tables with the coolest mix-and-match wooden chairs you have ever seen. Guests were given “questionnaires” where they were asked funny questions about Maggie and Dave (including what their new last names should be). Their place cards doubled as personalized coasters made by Maggie and Dave.

After dinner guests danced to the music of Geographer, a Bay Area band, under bulb lights and “poofs” created by Maggie. The ceremony backdrop was repurposed as a photo booth backdrop which created wonderful keepsake pictures.
