We receive SO many gorgeous weddings every single day that once in awhile we like to throw a little bit of a Style Me Pretty party and bring a few extra friends. Enter Real Wedding Wednesday. It’s our chance to celebrate even more happy couples, perfect details, talented vendors, and beautiful inspiration. We’re kicking things off right now with this adorable California wedding sent to us by Stout Photography. When I saw this delightful affair it was just the bright bit of happy I had been craving all day. With colorful florals from Blooms by Martha Andrews we heart this pretty party in a big way.

From Stout Photography…
They married on Mitch’s property/home in Corning, Ca. They wanted a very clean, simple and modern look with bright, bold jeweled colors. With the exception of their floral designs, the majority of their details were DIY. Their theme was centered around the idea of the Oak tree they married under. Lindsey and Mitch spent tons of time chopping tree’s from their property, drilling holes, and branding logs for their center pieces. They tied in the bold colors with their favors by having colored flip-flops as their wedding favors. Martha Andrews, of Blooms, made a different color bouquet/boutineer for each attendant and a variety of different center pieces.
So let me start by saying this wedding is extra special to us…simply because Lindsey is Matt (my husband) and My’s Sister! Yes, that’s right, I photographed my Sister (in-law’s) wedding! Lindsey is GORGEOUS, she is also one of the smartest chics you’ll ever meet. Aaaand, she happens to have a warm kind soul and a smile that goes on for days. All of this combined…well, let’s just say she’s never been short on guys wanting to take her out. But what I’ve always admired about Lindsey is her unwillingness to settle. She insisted on finding someone who was nothing short of perfect. So, just short of a year ago, she met Mitch, with the help of Eharmony.com, whom was head-over-heel’s for Lindsey right from the get-go. Lindsey on the other hand, has always been cautious with her heart. She doesn’t give it out to just anyone. She told us, Mitch is my friend, not my boyfriend. Well it wasn’t more than a month and Lindsey’s Facebook changed from” single” to” in a relationship with Mitch”, and just 6 months after that, “Lindsey is Engaged to Mitch”. As I said at their wedding, I see A LOT of weddings and the dynamics between so many relationships and Lindsey and Mitch’s is next to perfect.
