Lara and Michael’s chic Palm Springs wedding was an incredible treat for all of their guests and a perfect reflection of their laid back style. Their ceremony in the backyard of mid century modern estate was a sunshiny, tender event that had their guests alternating between tears and belly laughs. After the ceremony the guests drank Michael and Lara’s favorite cocktails poolside and then spent a celebratory evening of dining, dancing and partying the night away under the desert stars.
Lara, who designs weddings professionally, is also the founder of THREAD show and so she had an amazing list of talent in her pocket from day one in her planning. The succulents in tiny gold pots served double duty helping their guests find their seats and then providing a perfect little take home from the day. There were gold parasols for the guests who preferred shade during the ceremony and cafe lights that created the atmosphere for the poolside party. The smiling, suntanned faces of their guests said it all: it was an event not to be missed!
