Dreamy, Dreamy, McDreaminess. That was the only word running through my mind as I poured over all of these gorgeous images from Smitten Photography and I am smitten indeed. The PERFECT way to kick off a new week on SMP. But what makes this wedding even better, if possible, is that the whole shebang was a family made affair right down to the stunning dress. Linden and Matt were married on a 12 acre family farm in North Carolina and everyone pitched in to create a picture perfect day full of loving details and touches. Believe me, you are about to get lost in these beautiful images. You can see more of this incredible backyard wedding in the gallery.

From the Bride: I really wanted a simple wedding, with lots of personal details that screamed matt and I's relationship. So I decided there was no place other than my parents home where i was raised, to tie the knot! Lucky for me our family all jumped in with excitement and contributed to the day to make it just perfect... starting with my mom making my fantastic dress!! It was just gorgeous and she spent many hours sewing seams and taking them out to make certain that it was nothing less than perfect.
Next to the dress, pictures were a big deal for me. After I took a photography class from Sharon I came home and told my mom that I had found my wedding photographer!! So with that decided I could start planning my wedding.
I love shoes so they were quite a big deal! I searched the internet high and low but my oldest sister actually found them. My grandma couldn't seem to understand why a girl would want to wear PINK shoes on her wedding day but I knew they were just what i had been looking for. The necklace was something very special when I was little I would wear it to play dress up, and when my Grandmother offered it to me to wear I couldn't have been happier. I had one of my friends make my veil and earrings.
I adore cupcakes so when I saw the trend of cupcake towers I knew just what I wanted for my wedding cake. They were all baked with love by my mom and decorated by my aunts. For the food I wanted something easy to eat, delicious and not to complicated to make. So thanks to all of our families, they made that happen.
My aunt is an interior designer and I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted and she did a fantastic job combining them to make it even better than I had imagined. Our goal was to create an Anthropologie look because that store makes me feel like home. Overall Matt and I wanted nothing more than to enjoy our wedding day to the utmost and my guest to be relaxed and have a good time as well. I feel like we accomplished everything we were hoping for!
