We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE North Carolina weddings from Salt Harbor Designs and Millie Holloman Photography!
Here’s what the uber-talented Jen at Salt Harbor Designs had to tell us about today’s wedding ~ Rhonda and Wayne wanted a colorful and fun wedding on their own farmland. The couple planted thousands of sunflowers all over the property, creating an amazing backdrop of color for the event. The ceremony was held in the middle of a millet field and guests sat on bales of hay for a ceremony in the round. The cocktail hour was held in their red barn, horses and all. Guests were then invited into a tented reception. Rhonda had been collecting cobalt blue vases for years and so bright orchids, billy balls, and sunflowers were placed in the bottles along wooden picnic tables that family members had brought for the wedding. The night concluded with a tractor exit as the band played “she thinks my tractor’s sexy!”.
Wayne planted this field of sunflowers and timed it so that they would be in full bloom for the wedding! How cool is that!
You can read lots more about this adorable wedding on Jen’s blog {here}! And for more images from the day, Millie’s blog is chock-full of more fantastic moments!!
Congratulations to Rhonda & Wayne on a fantastic wedding! And thanks sooooo much to Jen & Millie & Rachel for sharing!
