What do you get when you combine hot sauce bottles, ranunculus and papel picado banners? Only the most colorfully gorgeous rehearsal dinner I have ever laid my eyes upon. With a powerhouse of vendors including styling from Jeanie of Details, Details and Sunny of White Lilac, Kellan and Brandon held a fiesta fit for a wedding day celebration. If you are as huge a fan of color as I am, you might want to take a seat. This is about to get realllly good.

Kellan and Brandon had a destination wedding in Laguna Beach California, as most of their friends and family lived out of the area. Brandon’s Family hosted a rehearsal dinner at El Adobe as their family loves good Mexican food, being all from Missouri, this was such a treat. Margaritas and Mariachis added to the fun space. The cheese enchiladas were to die for and the flan is the best in town. Sunny from White Lilac transformed the space with colorful flower poufs and cut out banners throughout the entire ceiling. If you look closely you will find several strands were custom cut with Kellan and Brandon names embedded into the art. She found beautiful patterned and velvet runners that were overlaid on soft buttery yellow linens. Tissue flowers were adorned on each napkin along with variety of vivid ribbons. My favorites were the hot sauce bottles, and Mexican sodas bottles, used as bud vases along with jalapeno cans filled with ranunculus, parrot tulips, anemones and fresh mint. Amazing gift bags were created by Diana Phillips and were such a treat for every guest, as it was filled with goodies like dark chocolate truffles (her specialty) cocoa chili chips, strawberry mini mints and even little pouches of Tylenol. The paper goods from Details a la Carte were perfectly fitting with the festive borders and woven materials. Kellan and Brandon wanted a lively, colorful, welcoming event and it was nothing short of that!
