Engagement Session by Brightwood Photography

There are things in life that really get my goat* in a good way – easily at the top of that list would be puppies, chalkboards and old pick-up trucks . (I grew up in Tennessee, hence the love for the trucks). That’s why when the completely adorable couple, Amira & Brandon, passed along their engagement pictures I thought two things: 1.)I love them (& their fantastic photographer) and 2.)They knew exactly what elements to use in their shoot to wrap me around their delightful fingers. These will definitely make you smile today.  And I like that.

*Get my goat: a phrase I overuse but truly love.

Also, I will need to add “turquoise upholstered chairs” to my list of favorites . The one below is her Great Grandmother’s.  The awesome yellow truck in the photos above – it’s his Grandfather’s.  How precious is that? See what I mean, Amira & Brandon are good at wrapping me around their cute  fingers…

A few words from the charming bride-to-be:

I really wanted a vintage, country feel and our photographers captured what I wanted perfectly. We used Brandon’s grandfather’s truck that had been passed down to him. It’s still in great condition and it was special that we could use it for the photos. The funky, blue chair was my great grandmother’s, and I’m glad that we could incorporate it as well. We chose to take the pictures in Tenaja, CA which is where my family home is. I’ve always loved the huge oak trees, and thought it would make the perfect setting for our engagement pictures. We had such a good time shooting these pictures. Greg and Tim from Brightwood Photography did a wonderful job!

A wonderful job indeed! Thanks so much for getting my goat today (in a good way, of course).

XOXO, (the other) Abby from Life in the Super Burbs
