Breanne and Mike’s wedding was held at Eden United Church of Christ in Edwardsville, Illinois.

This past year we had the pleasure of knowing Breanne & Mike and their lovely families in order to plan and design their fall wedding. In the process we got to know one of their friends and an amazing photographer, Morgan Matters Photography who captured the beautiful details and colors of the event. Working closely with the bride-to-be, we designed the event around a color palette of crimson red, plums, creams, with a pop of turquoise.
Breanne & Mike carried the families tradition of exchanging vows at Eden United Church of Christ in Edwardsville Illinois. She wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, from Ultimate Bride in Chicago, while the bridesmaids wore a rich crimson dress, each design unique, created by J CREW and carried cream, gold, & burgundy bouquets created by the artistic talents of Fleurish the Rebel Florist. To add a special touch to Breanne’s bouquet, a family heirloom brooch was added to the base of the bouquet as something borrowed, something old, and something blue. The Groomsmen wore champagne colored vests and ties from Stallone’s with golden calla and orchid boutonnieres. After a beautiful ceremony, the Bride and Groom exited the church to waving ribbon wands and departed in style to the Westin Hotel in Saint Louis, Missouri.
The Westin Saint Louis’ contemporary-style Promenade Ballroom was the perfect backdrop for the cocktail hour as guests enjoyed sipping on a pomegranate signature cocktail and delectable hors d’oeuvres. The escort card design, created by Two Blue Doors, were inspired by the brooch on the bride’s bouquet and were surrounded by mini faux floral bud arrangements tied with a pop of turquoise ribbon. The stationery designs were carried through the event with the menus, table numbers, & custom cocktail napkins.
The ballroom was transformed with soft amber light creating a warm glow. Romantic twig-like gobos provided by The Aries Co. covered one wall and filled the room with the energy of the outdoors. Multiple varieties of flowers arranged in low informal clusters with an abundance of varied foliages and textures kept within an arc of shades of cream, apricot, rust, crimson & burgundy liberally accented with light shades of green and gold. These lovely centerpieces were placed atop a champagne crinkle taffeta linens provided by All Seasons Linens. Each layer of the four-tier champagne colored cake created by Sugaree Baking Company, was a different flavor; Lemon, Chocolate, Raspberry, & Tiramisu. After an exquisite dinner, guests got to their feet and danced to the sounds of Arvel & Company provided by Contemporary Productions.
It was truly a pleasure to work with all of the vendors involved to create such an enjoyable evening for such an adorable couple.
