There is something really great about a wedding that is all fun. For me, it’s the more whimsical, sweet weddings that really hit home…that serve as a reminder of how important it is to design an affair that reflects your personality and not one that reflects what a wedding “should” look like. And if you can do that without sacrificing style, well, that is what makes for a really great celebration.
Photographed by Kirsten Ellis of Beaux Arts Photographie and coordinated by Donna Romani Events, this Elings Park wedding is just about as good as it gets…
From the bride…
I made 150 pinwheels as escort cards. Tim has used the word, “obsessed.” I saw it as a challenge. After the ceremony guests were invited to the lawn to enjoy specialty hard lemonade/non-alcoholic lemonade, in these really cute mason jars w/daisy lids I found on-line. I even found cool retro barber striped straws in blue and red. We had hors d’oeuvres as well as games like bocce ball, badminton, and croquette. We had a wedding cake to cut, along with an ice cream and cookie bar. Guests could take TimTam cookies that we had imported from Autralia.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. Thank you so much to Kirsten of Beaux Arts Photographie for sharing this adorable wedding with us. And to the bride and groom for giving us a peak into their day.
