We are feeling very, very happy here at Style Me Pretty. Floating on cloud nine actually. So excited that we are literally bursting at the seams to start today’s absolutely, positively fabulous feature.
Here’s a little back story. We recently launched a Wedding Dress and Bridesmaid Dress Fashion Look Book so that you guys could do a little window shopping with your favorite designers before making the big purchase. Well, we fell so madly in love with the gowns and the designers that we decided to have one of our favorite photographers, Matthew Grazier, head to New York to photograph Fashion Week so that we could capture their latest collection.
And when I say that Matt did an incredibly awesome, jaw droppingly beautiful job getting each and every gown, each and every detail…I am hardly doing his work justice. So for today, you can just sit back, relax and devour ALL of the amazing wedding gowns from Fashion Week’s 2010 collection. Starting with this showstopper from one of my personal favorites, Amsale.
Amsale’s gowns were this perfect blend of tradition and style. From dramatic ball gowns to short, flirty cocktail dresses, there was such an attention to detail. Fabric rosettes, incredible draping, strong silhouettes paired with more ethereal styles. Absolutely stunning. And I think that the dress above just might be a complete work of art.
The trumpet gown above is probably my favorite of the bunch. Or the one that I would buy in about two seconds flat. It has a layered bodice with a huge fabric rosette and for me, is all together perfect.
Loving the assymetrical straps, the layering of fabrics, the absolutely stunning silhouettes. Amsale has always been a favorite of mine but this collection was even more refined, even more of a sophisticated fairytale than ever before.
We have some of the most amazing designers coming up throughout the day. A HUGE thank you goes out to Matthew Grazier for photographing this feast of wedding dress eye candy just for Style Me Pretty. Coming up next…Christos!
