Vintage Wedding with Handmade Details

This is one of those weddings that is just as sweet as it could possibly be. The bride is perfection, the style is a little bit vintage, a little bit pure elegance. The details are thoughtful and incredibly lovely and the feel of total, unabashed romance seams to be tucked inside every photograph. And of course, the images that the forever talented team at Carla Ten Eyck including Michael Romano, Katie Slater and Nicole Taylor, captured tell the story to perfection…

From the lovely bride…

My ceremony dress was purchased at the Bridal Garden in NYC, which is a not for profit bridal boutique that showcases major designers and retails their dresses for 75% off the retail price. The money that goes towards purchasing the dress helps support education for NYC children. I was truly blessed and fortunate for finding a beautiful gown that fit like a glove! The gown was made by Pronovias. My veil was designed by me and my maid of honor at an amazing place in NYC called Sposabella. That was also a wonderful experience, I got to pick out my own lace! It was a dream come true.

My something Blue was given to me by my Maid of Honor, it was a piece of ribbon that had our wedding date as well as my old initials (WAB) stitched on. My mom sewed that piece of fabric into my dress the morning of our special day. She was honored to do it….tears and all!
