Bridesmaid Dress Round Up, Part III

I am so thrilled to have Carrie here doing fashion and style round-ups for us each week. You guys all remember her AMAZING Charleston wedding that we featured a couple of months ago and I am sure that just like I did, you fell hard for her sophisticated, uber-chic style. So this week Carrie is chatting all about bridesmaid dresses…and now, the perfect shade of black.

We are taking some of the work out of looking for the perfect bridesmaids dress. Hopefully, you will see some dresses today that will send you into a shopping frenzy! We all know that every woman looks their best in black, so we have a few coveted dresses from some of our favorite designers and stores to share with you that we think will be a huge hit.

When choosing a bridesmaid friendly little black dress, look for silhouettes that are contemporary, yet classic. From there the sky is the limit! This assortment has a little bit of everything, from elegant to flirty.

Top Row: This group of dresses from Melissa Sweet, Thread Bridesmaids, and Queue are all about showing off the subtle details on the bodice. If you want your girls to have a little extra sophistication, black is definitely the color you want to go with, as it keeps the over-the-top factor under control.

Middle Row: The oh-so-lovely Melissa Sweet, Vineyard Collection, and Thread Bridesmaids created these three beauties. The lines on these dresses are so gorgeous and are the epitome of the flawless little black dress. Any one of these dresses would be perfect to wear for a more formal affair.

Bottom Row: Anthropologie and J.Crew always have fabulous dresses, and usually you can find a few that are a welcomed departure from the typical bridesmaids dress. I just love the flirty details in the two Anthropologie dresses and who wouldn’t look gorgeous in J. Crew’s Whitney Dress.

Coming up next, we have an incredibly beautiful real wedding to satisfy your eye candy craving!
