I love Amy Atlas. In a ridiculously huge way. Whenever she sends me one of her latest dessert tables, I drop whatever I am doing to get it up on the blog so that you guys get to see it first. This latest one is a total dream and although it was crafted for a birthday party, it could easily be translated into a pretty awesome wedding design!

Some delicious details from Amy…
This was an intimate, family gathering in Southhampton…it was a joint birthday party for the client’s son, Scott, and sister, Ellen. The color scheme was inspired by the linens and place mats that were used for dinner, as the client loved the pattern so much. Even the loop detail on the candy bags and popcorn cups had a pattern that mimicked the place mats.

We had a cake replicated to look like an A Lang & Sohn watch that the client purchased for her son’s birthday gift, also bringing in his watch details in the personalized popcorn cups and candy bags. Ellen, the client’s sister, loves hydrangeas so we designed additional cakes to look just like potted flowers. We carried that hydrangea detail into the petit fors as well. We filled Scott’s bags with reeses peanut butter cups and butterfingers and Ellen’s with her favorite cookie from a local hampton’s bakery.
I love how completely and totally personal this dessert table is. Each detail reflected the guests of honor in some way which is completely lovely. Thank you so very much to Amy for sending us today’s fabulous dessert table. Check out Amy’s other creations on her site and her positively gorgeous blog!
