A Modern, Traditional Wedding, IV

So, the best part about today’s featured affair (aside from the sheer fabulousness of the whole thing) was the details. The perfect little touches that Audra and Teddy infused into their day, most of which Audra crafted completely on her own!

From the bride…

For programs, I wanted something simple, but also in the same style as my invitations (below). Inserted inside was a confetti packet which instructed the guests to throw as the bride and groom walked down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife. They threw this, as we walked back down to Stevie Wonders “For Once in My Life.”

Our guestbook was made of tiny envelopes where the guests were asked to write a wedding wish, message, or funny story. We also made little pins for guests to wear to really continue the look.

I designed the invitations myself and I really wanted something a little less traditional. I am obsessed with typography so my Dad cut out all the letters from old signs, and my friend captured the pictures. And the magnet with our little heads was our save the date leave behind.

Various images throughout Audra and Teddy’s feature today were taken by her friend and maid-of-honor, Kat Netzler.

Thank you so very much to Audra and Teddy for sharing their gorgeous wedding with us. It was PERFECTION!
