Well, I’ve saved the best of today’s real wedding features for last. The oh-so-cute reception. Photographed by Heather Kincaid, this reception is all about fun, with a bit of charm and style mixed in for good measure. There is really no point in me blabbing on and on, when the bride is here to share all of the great details!
From the bride…
My absolute favorite details were the large chalkboards that my husband along with his brother and dad constructed as signs to put around the venue along with smaller ones we painted from the dollar store with sayings like “Eat, Drink and Be Married.
The reception went better than planned as I was hoping that no one would be sitting at the dinner tables all night. Instead, everyone was up and mingling and taking advantage of the beautiful fire rings that lit up the lake or getting down on the dance floor or just relaxing by the fire pits. Many people told me before the big day to take a step back and just enjoy the moment and when I did just that, what I saw were all of our guests laughing and dancing and celebrating our special day just the way we had anticipated. It truly was everything I had ever dreamed of and more!”
Thank you so much to the faaaaaabulous Heather Kincaid for sharing such a lovely wedding with us!
