Real Wedding: Simone and Wesley, II

Today we are featuring the most gorgeous wedding....filled with sweet, charming details and a bride that is absolutely lovely. Being involved in events and such, she was able to really design a wedding that reflected her own chic, effortless style. Where friends and family took center stage and where pure romance wasn't designed but simply fell into place.

Her budget for the wedding was $17,000. Some of you may consider this a fabulous wedding for that budget, others are working with much smaller budgets and still others are working with larger ones. Regardless of your budget, however, I think that it's fair to say that this was a really lovely wedding for that price tag.

Oh and I am obsessed with the cute, mismatched bridesmaids dresses. Again, effortlessly chic.

From Simone...

We decided on an evening wedding our ceremony did not start until 6pm and was on the grounds at Aberthau Mansion in Vancouver. Which was great because we were able to have a relaxing morning. Our theme or style was Vintage we had simple white folding chairs and a white feather backdrop for ceremony decor. It just so happened to be a beautiful day and the sun was at the perfect spot during the ceremony and made the walk down the aisle look angelic. ( I planned that! Just kidding, I wish I was that good.) I think we may win the world record for fastest ceremonies, I was about 2 minutes of talking (all we had to say was “I do”) , signed the papers and kiss we were done. The guests loved that!

The Bridesmaids and I carried large nosegays of Roses, Peonies and Hydrangea ( My favorite flowers!) I work for PartyArt Designs as well so I made all the arrangements and bouquets the day before the wedding. I wrapped a handkerchief around my bouquet it worked great! The ring bearer carried the rings in a Romeo and Juliet cigar box.

So much more to come!
