I got an email from the oh-so-talented Kristen Nichols of Milkmaid Press about her FABULOUS new line of wedding invitations called Pearl. Here is a quick snippet from Kristen, as she sums it up so much better than I would…
“Many people are being hit hard with the economy and trying to save where and when they can, so I thought why not launch a line of exquisite stationery that anyone can afford…and Pearl was born! Because I believe that wedding stationery is the most important paper purchase a couple can make, and your stationery often sets the tone for your entire wedding, I wanted to give brides an inexpensive alternative without sacrificing style, quality or impression.”
And here is a first look at the lovely, lovely collection…
Why is it called Pearl you might ask? Well…the designs are all flat printed on luminous iridescent pearl paper which adds a sparkle and sheen, while still seeming classic in the best way possible. Kristen uses really complex designs that were crafted to really take advantage of the gorgeous papers that she has sourced and the best part is, the designs can be ready in 5-7 business days.
Kristen totally proves my theory that an artist can be successful in so many capacities simply because they have an eye for style and design. Her photography company, Jubilee Photography, does absolutely stunning work and lucky for us, she offers a Stationery/Photography package ~ book Jubilee Photography for your wedding and get 20% off your stationery order (letterpress or Pearl)…pretty great!
I am going to quit blabbing and just encourage you to head on over to Pearl’s website to check out all of the ridiculously gorgeous designs. If you love them but can’t find the perfect fit, Kristen also offers custom work starting at $350 (in addition to the cost of the printed material).
Congrats, Kristen, on your fabulous new adventure!
