I started by designing a logo identity system for myself and Benjamin with our initials. Our initials spell out pound (lb.) so I had the whole ceremony revolve around a "weight, balance, pound" idea. I bought some vintage kitchen scales for the centerpieces and used photos of scales I photographed as an image that consistently showed up throughout all the collateral. I even wrote most of our ceremony based on other non-traditional ceremonies. Our friend Kim was our officiant and he read the entire ceremony in French first and then English. That was probably the best part because Some of Benjamin's family who came from France do not know English.
