This week I have been guest blogging on Design*Sponge, which needless to say, has been a huge thrill for me. Just like the creative people that I am featuring over there, my interests are not only in what I do professionally. I simply love design…whether it’s interior design, crafting, cooking, anything really. So, to have a chance to see how some of my favorite wedding professionals translate their own creative instincts…well, it’s been pretty incredible.
Today, on both Design*Sponge and on Style Me Pretty, we are featuring the work and homes of photographers, Stephanie Cristalli and Chenin Boutwell, along with florist Catherine of Wiggy Flowers. All of these artists are talented from the tops of their head to the tips of their toes, thus it’s been a joy to learn a little bit more about their creative aesthetic.
First up is Stephanie Cristalli, a Seattle-based photographer that I’ve long admired…
I completely adore the color palette for this wedding. The contrasting raspberry, terra cotta and green is so beautiful…during the day the colors look fresh and lively, at night they look romantic and inviting. And although it’s clear that so much time and energy went into the planning of this wedding, it seems cohesive and relaxed. A backyard style ceremony and an intimate dinner with close friends and family. Can’t beat that.
Head over to Design*Sponge today to check out Stephanie’s GORGEOUS home.
