[field title=”Wedding Colors”] The color palette of antique pink and yellow, green, terracotta orange set the stage for a vibrant and unforgettable affair, reflecting the uniqueness and richness of the love shared between the two grooms.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
The wedding style was freely inspired by the venue, the Convento Dell Annunciata. It was the first and only place the couple visited, and it was love at first sight, despite the visit taking place in February with rain and fog: even though the weather conditions were not optimal, the place conveyed a special magic, and both Marco and Andrea immediately identified the perfect spaces and corners to celebrate their story. The couple then chose pastel colors that perfectly matched the structure: the antique pink and yellow of the frescoes and walls, the brick color of the roofs, and the lush greenery of the Convent’s beautiful park. These delicate yet strongly characterized colors were the starting point for the entire event organization.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Marco proposed to Andrea on Christmas Eve 2021. It was a proposal that had been planned for some time and took place in their home. That evening they went out for dinner, and Marco’s intention was to take Andrea to Piazza Duomo in Milan afterward to propose surrounded by the beautiful Christmas atmosphere. However, Andrea had just finished a night shift at the hospital and was quite tired, so they opted to go straight home. Once they arrived, under the guise of exchanging gifts, Marco gave Andrea a crossword puzzle, telling him that by solving the game, he would find the name of his gift. The crossword puzzle had been constructed using questions related to their story, their memories, and their characteristics. In the end, instead of the name of a gift, the word MARRY ME appeared in the crossword puzzle, and Andrea, surprised, accepted. Then they exchanged rings (Marco had two prepared, one for himself and one for Andrea).[/field]

Both the outfits for the grooms were designed and crafted by the skilled hands of Carlo and Laura from Ostellari Sartoria, who enthusiastically embraced the couples’; ideas. Andrea and Marco opted for white attire, both to honor tradition and to differentiate themselves from the palette chosen for the event. Andrea chose a double-breasted, elegant, and classy model, while Marco opted for a more creative design, characterized by a closure with a pendant-like belt.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]
For the planning of the appetizer and dinner menus, Marco and Andrea relied on the experience and professionalism of T’A Milano, who skillfully combined traditional and refined flavors with a sophisticated and elegant style. Before the ceremony, the couple chose to welcome their guests with a welcome drink, featuring non-alcoholic cocktails, flavored waters, and fruit juices. During the appetizer, various types of finger foods were served, such as Parmigiano Reggiano tacos, whipped codfish, and vegetable caviar, or Chianina beef tartare in a jar with puffed rice crackers and spiced mayonnaise. The rest was served at stations, including a special one specifically requested by the couple: the fried pizza station. For dinner, the newlyweds opted to serve two first courses (Carnaroli Reserve rice, langoustines, lime gel, Martini Dry, followed by “fagottelli”; pasta with trombetta zucchini, turmeric, cacioricotta cheese, Parmesan milk, porcini mushroom pollen) and a second course (Veal fillet cooked at low temperature, with whipped potato puree and zucchini “rocks”).

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
For the flowers, the couple gave free rein to the expert, Maria Grazia Lo Iacono, who proposed a variety of flowers that fit well with the event’s palette. Among these, Andrea and Marco selected some that, according to them, had the most character and would add a touch of personality to the look and feel of the day. To replace the bouquet, Maria Grazia proposed creating important boutonnieres, which captured the attention of all the guests and, at the end of the wedding, Andrea and Marco had them dried and framed. For the ceremony, the couple chose to give more space to the forest setting rather than adding more greenery; for this reason, the only floral point was a grounded arch, arranged like a big embrace for the couple. Against the backdrop of nature’s splendor, they exchanged vows in a ceremony that spoke of commitment, devotion, and the profound bond they shared. In that area, there is an atmosphere of intimacy and magic that blended perfectly with the rustic style furnishings used for the ceremony, such as the walnut-colored wooden chairs with crossed coppery iron backrests and rattan seats, and the welcome bags made of recycled paper, containing a rainbow fan, tissues for happy tears, a mini seating chart for dinner, and insect repellent. After the aperitivo, the festivities continued in the grove, where a clearing surrounded by trees and woods served as the enchanting setting for the wedding dinner. Three imperial tables, adorned with candles and fairy lights, awaited the guests, inviting them to partake in a truly culinary journey 100% made in Italy. For the table, matched with the flowers, Maria Grazia chose to use white textured vases and terracotta-pink ones, along with white ceramic candle holders alternating with gold ones with glass flame. The colors from Andrea and Marco’s palette were reflected in the glasses, plates, and cutlery, creating delicate and elegant shades on the long tables. To achieve an intimate, welcoming, and stunning ambiance, Gionata and the couple chose vintage pendants to illuminate the secret garden nestled in the center of the forest: with their soft light, positioned at different heights on the tables, they warmed up the evening and further embellished the aesthetic.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]For the cake, the couple opted for a modern, multi-tiered style, characterized by a terracotta-colored ombre gradient.
For the filling, the sweet and aromatic flavor of pistachio was paired with the slightly tart note of raspberries. The cake was accompanied by a large buffet of desserts, which included small individual portions, dragées, spoon desserts, mini meringues, and signature pralines.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Andrea and Marco chose “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles as the anthem for their
special day, aiming to further convey their message: that to find balance, to add color to their lives, to live fully, one needs only love. The song was skillfully performed by a string quartet as the entrance music at the beginning of the ceremony.
The couple then decided to involve their closest friends in their first dance, organizing a fun flash mob with accompanying choreography to the tune of “Dancing Queen”: the result was unforgettable![/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]For the stationery the idea was to evoke rounded shapes and semicircles and pair them with groovy-looking fonts, all in terracotta, sage green, mustard yellow, and antique pink tones. Even the pattern, exclusively designed by Iumi for the couple, aimed to capture the playful spirit of the 1960s/1970s. The same elements were echoed in the place cards, mini seating chart, RSVP website, signage at the venue, and even in the wedding favors.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]For a huge step back in time everybody enjoyed the retro charm of a wedding photo booth like no other—an authentic 70s van transformed into a whimsical time capsule of nostalgia and fun.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]From the couple “For us the wedding was not meant to be just a simple celebration of their love but a fundamental opportunity to convey values such as family, acceptance, inclusion, and the foundational principles on which to build a life together. And it was exactly what it happened, we can not be more than happy about it!”[/field]
