Boston Engagement Session from Forevercandid Photography

You are going to love this couple.  And not just because they are seriously adorable (they sooo are) or because their engagement session is one that will most definitely go down in SMP history.  No, it's more than that.  It's a fairytale meeting in London, a friendship turned romance in Barcelona and a take-your-breath away proposal in the great city of Boston that kind of leaves you speechless.  In other words, it's a seriously amazing combo of awesome that makes this sweet duo our couple crush of the week.  See it all captured by Forevercandid Photography in the full gallery.

From the Bride-to-Be... Adam and I met the first night of our study abroad program in London. From then on we spent almost every day together: from making dinners, to going out after class, to planning our weekend trips. And it was during one of those weekend trips (to Barcelona) that we started dating.

Five years later we are happily living in Boston, and on a sunny day in November Adam completely surprised me when he had a limo pick me up from my office. He was supposed to be on an airplane going to Kansas City for Thanksgiving, but instead he was secretly planning (in my biased opinion) the best proposal in the history of proposals! The limo brought me all over Boston where I collected pictures, treats and notes Adam hand wrote and left at our old apartments and meaningful places throughout Boston. At the last stop he had rose petals leading from the hallway through the door, and he hung up pictures of us that spelled out "Will you marry me?" When I walked in, he was on his knee to propose, and of course I said yes! The last surprise of the day was when the limo brought us to our favorite restaurant and our parents were waiting to celebrate with us.

When we started talking about our engagement pictures it was important that we took them in meaningful locations, so we decided to journey from our early relationship into our future together. We started in Boston at the Public Gardens and Beacon Hill. Along the way took pictures in front of our old apartment building, and the coffee shop we used to visit. Then we traveled up to Ipswich to take pictures at our wedding venue, the Crane Estate.  I first fell in love with the Estate when I went to a concert at the Great House. I thought it was such a breathtaking combination of the castle-like mansion, rolling hills, and ocean. At the end of our engagement weekend, I introduced Adam to the Crane Estate, and we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding.
