Coastal desert tones layered with pops of vibrant color from florals, grounded by natural textures and materials. The palette was inspired by the meeting point of desert and sea in Todos Santos—warm, sun-washed neutrals accented with rich greens, bougainvillea pinks, and candlelit glow.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]We wanted the aesthetic to feel deeply connected to place while remaining elevated and effortless. Each event carried its own mood and attire: colorful cocktail for the welcome party in town, classic black tie for the wedding day, and playful “pool party chic” for the day after. The overall vision was to immerse guests in the rhythm of Todos Santos—raw, coastal desert beauty softened by intentional design, natural textures, and a sense of ease that never felt over-styled.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]We got engaged in London in 2023 while I was there for work. I thought I was meeting my sister for a casual Friday dinner, with a quick pre-dinner drink beforehand. Behind the scenes, George had conspired with my sister and the hotel staff to orchestrate the proposal—an envelope waiting for me on arrival, a letter in George’s handwriting, and a candlelit path leading to our suite’s terrace.
Reality had its own plan. I was fashionably (very fashionably) late, and by the time I arrived nearly two hours later, the original staff had changed shifts and were convinced I had stood George up. When I finally appeared, the maître d’ handed me his note, George smiled, and together we went upstairs. On the terrace overlooking the London skyline at sunset, he asked me to marry him. The next morning, we flew to the Greek Isles for a spontaneous adventure.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]My wedding dress came from Halfpenny London, the same city where we got engaged, which made it feel especially meaningful. I knew it was the one the moment I tried on the veil that attached in my hair and draped to my wrists, adding an unexpected sculptural element to an otherwise classic silhouette. I wanted something timeless but with an edge—elevated, slightly unexpected, and infused with a sense of ease that felt right for Mexico.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]We encouraged our bridesmaids to choose looks that felt personal while staying within a warm, neutral palette that complemented the setting. The result felt relaxed yet refined, allowing each person’s style to shine while maintaining a cohesive, effortless look.[/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]George wore a classic black tuxedo that grounded the evening in tradition, while the groomsmen followed suit with timeless black-tie styling, creating a sharp contrast against the organic textures and candlelit outdoor setting.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Dinner was prepared by the Michelin-recognized team at Benno, with a menu that celebrated seasonal ingredients and the flavors of the region. The experience unfolded slowly over several hours, encouraging conversation, storytelling, and connection. Cocktails and wine flowed freely, adding to the warmth and intimacy of the evening.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]A week before the wedding, an earthquake damaged our original dinner venue, forcing a complete redesign of the evening almost overnight. What could have been chaos became one of the most magical moments of the weekend. Our planning and design team created a winding dinner table nestled between queen palms and bougainvillea in full bloom, framed by a perfectly scaled structure with billowing drapery and warm, layered lighting that made the entire space glow. The setting felt organic, romantic, and completely immersive.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Instead of a traditional cake moment, we focused on the overall dining experience and shared desserts served family-style, allowing guests to linger at the table and enjoy the evening without interruption.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]One of our favorite elements was a jewelry-making activation for guests, using beads inspired by the colors and textures of Mexico and charms that captured the spirit of the region. By the end of the weekend, nearly everyone was wearing their handmade piece—woven into photos, dinners, and dancing—a tangible reminder of the celebration.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The welcome party took place in a restored brick building in town with ivy climbing the walls and a few friendly dogs wandering through as guests toasted us. It set the tone for the weekend: relaxed, communal, and full of character.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]After dinner, we surprised everyone by moving the dance floor into the hotel’s chapel—an intimate, unexpected setting that immediately shifted the mood. Later in the evening, a playful twist emerged when wigs of every color and style appeared. What started with a few brave guests quickly turned into a joyful, uninhibited dance floor moment that broke down every barrier and became one of the night’s most unforgettable highlights.[/field]
